Estate Planning

Client Centered

As part of a comprehensive plan, Estate Planning is a very important component.  Preparing an Estate Plan provides heirs future reassurance and provides the client confidence knowing that everything is taken care of.

A primary goal in Estate Planning is tax minimization.  Maplestone Wealth Advisors will work together with you to craft a plan that seeks to minimize tax as much as possible.  Roth IRA conversion and legal mechanisms will all be considered to serve your best interests.

Our services include:

  • Customized Estate Planning
  • Tax Considerations
  • Trust Options
  • IRA conversions
  • Quarterly review and rebalancing

LPL Financial Representatives offer access to Trust Services through The Private Trust Company N.A., an affiliate of LPL Financial.

Traditional IRA account owners have considerations to make before performing a Roth IRA conversion. These primarily include income tax consequences on the converted amount in the year of conversion, withdrawal limitations from a Roth IRA, and income limitations for future contributions to a Roth IRA. In addition, if you are required to take a required minimum distribution (RMD) in the year you convert, you must do so before converting to a Roth IRA.
